University of Dar es Salaam, School of Law
The then Faculty of Law of the University of East Africa was founded in 1961 with the aim of educating lawyers for the closely cooperating East African countries of Kenya, Tanganyika, Uganda and Zanzibar. The University of Dar es Salaam School of Law has an excellent reputation in the region and therefore attracts students from all East African Community Partner States and South Sudan.
